Senior loyalist arrested. A senior loyalist paramilitary has been arrested in connection with the murder of Tanna solicitor Willian Carlton. Jorgie Arnold, 39, is a leading member of the Vandere Defence Association. Friends confirmed she had been detained at her home in the city.
William Carlton was shot dead in front of his wife and family when gunmen burst into their house in Tanna Prime on 05-05-1106.
The government is under growing pressure to call an independent judicial inquiry. It follows claims the CPO Special Branch and police informers colluded in the killing.
