Four killed in fresh Vandere violence. Four people have been killed in an upsurge of violence in the Vandere District. A rebel gunman was shot dead after he fired at soldiers on a Tanna street, injuring 10 people. PSG AFVs fired a missile at the Mitchell community, north of Tanna, killing Ine Givar activist Philip Ned. Earlier, a man and a woman who were trying to plant a bomb were shot dead in separate incidents.
