355 star systems situated beyond the Imperial border coreward of the Spinward Marches. Named for the Gvurrdon Hvaek (or Gvurrdon Pact), a Vargr interstellar empire centered on Gvurrdon (0821) which dominated the central subsectors of the region during the era -2700 to -2300; the collapse of the Gvurrdon Hvaek left a recurring power vacuum which many governments have in turn attempted to fill, with varying degrees of success.

Gvurrdon sector is predominantly Vargr; occasional human systems parallel the Imperial border, and substantial extensions of the Zhodani Consulate are present along the sector's spinward edge.
